The Flying Dutchman (2019)
This interactive version of The Flying Dutchman featured a live virtual character that was controlled by a dancer offstage in a motion capture suit. In a groundbreaking approach, the video imagery was entirely rendered in real time, giving a slightly different visual experience each night. The show premiered at Quebec Opera in 2019 and at The Metropolitan Opera in New York in 2020.
