Sondheim on Sondheim is a hybrid documentary film and musical – an intimate portrait of the legendary composer in his own words and music. Inspired by Sondheim’s obsession with puzzles, over 50 flatscreen monitors fluidly rearrange onstage, weaving together exclusive interview footage and over two dozen Sondheim tunes to give the audience an inside look at Sondheim’s life, mind, and artistic process. The ensemble cast is led by Tony Award winner Barbara Cook and Vanessa Williams.
