Directed by Francois Girard and composed by the founders of Bang On a Can, featuring 3 solo singers, a 28 person choir, the Concerto Köln, 6 dancers, The Bang On a Can All-Stars band, and DJ Spooky. With the performers atop a three-tiered set, the visual image was a vertical articulation of musical structure fronted by a massive surface upon which the libretto was projected using my handwritten font, functioning simultaneously as an aesthetic and literary object.
